Key:
Examination of the impact of 2-stroke & 4-stroke 30hp Suzuki boat engine sound on the behaviour and space use of Pomacentrus wardi light trap caught recruits.
- 3 min behavioural observations. Fish caught in light trap, kept overnight and placed on Pocillopora patch reefs that were a combinatuion of live and dead (50:50).
- Fish were given 10 min to acclimate without boat noise. 2 x 3 design with 2 sounds (ambient and boat) and 3 cues (SW, Hetero= Apogonid, CAC).
