World Heritage seagrass habitats dataset

Data collected for the first chapter (MPhil thesis) consists of frequency of mention of the word "seagrass" within documents retrieved from UNESCO official website. This was done to assess the relative importance of the seagrass habitat towards the OUV of marine and coastal WH properties. Numbers and categories of threat for each WH property from the most recent State of Conservation report are collected to determine the most common threats to WH properties containing seagrass habitats. Lastly, number of articles retrieved from Scopus and Web Of Science, using specific search strategies are recorded. All these variables are stored in csv file.
